Complex Evidence, Clearly Explained

Digital Forensics & Investigative Services for Southeast Texas

Digital evidence can be complicated. Explaining what it shows should not be. SR2 Forensics helps attorneys and businesses preserve, examine, and understand digital evidence—and communicate the findings in straightforward language for clients, counsel, and other nontechnical audiences.

Founder Charles Teel brings more than 20 years of technology experience and is a Texas-licensed private investigator. You work directly with the person handling the evidence, with clear scope, responsive communication, and flat-fee options for many common services.

  • Based in downtown Beaumont and serving Southeast Texas
  • Local intake, prompt scheduling, and on-site collection where practical

Preserve First

Secure the Evidence Before It Changes

Digital evidence can be altered through continued use, automatic synchronization, software updates, remote access, retention policies, and routine system activity. Early preservation helps reduce avoidable loss and gives counsel a stable evidence set for later review.

  • Documented device and account intake
  • Forensic or structured data acquisition, as appropriate
  • Cryptographic verification where supported
  • Chain-of-custody documentation
  • Secure evidence handling and delivery
  • Coordination with counsel and designated experts

From Evidence to Answers

Forensic Examination, Analysis & Investigations

Preserving the evidence is often only the beginning. SR2 Forensics can examine available digital evidence and investigate the activity surrounding it to help answer questions such as what happened, when it happened, what systems or accounts were involved, and what evidence supports those findings.

Investigative matters may include employee misconduct, unauthorized computer or account use, suspected data theft or exfiltration, internal investigations, litigation-related fact development, and other business or fraud-related matters within the authorized scope of the engagement.

  • Digital forensic examination and analysis
  • User and system activity reconstruction
  • Communications and account activity review
  • Timeline development and evidence correlation
  • Internal and litigation-related investigations
  • Employee misconduct and unauthorized-use matters
  • Suspected data theft or exfiltration
  • Forensic findings and investigative reports
